The second day of qualification matches went well. We ended the day ranked 11th and were captains of the number 7 alliance! We moved into the quarterfinals with teams 5901 (Cougar Pack) and 4737 (Atomigators)! We lost the first quarterfinal and sadly our belt that allows the elevator to move so we can move the cubes broke. So, we used our time out card and rushed to get it fixed. We were unable to fix it in time, so we had to call in a backup robot (team 6615, Belle Voxel). Our alliance ended up being taken out by the number 2 alliance of 4405, 1189, and 5915. Moving into the award ceremony, we had the pleasure of receiving the imagery award in honor of Jack Kamen. We were also the first runner up to the safety award! One of our team members, Vince Tedrick, also won Dean's List and will be moving onto the state competition! We had lots of fun this season! Now onto our final comp in Forest Hills!
