As of 2/3/17, our team has accomplished multiple things on our robot. We have built our robot and it looks like the letter 'A'. We have all of our electrics on one side to keep them out of the way and to make sure we have room for the basket that will be collecting all of the balls that we pick up. For the basket, we are currently working on the outside frame to hold everything in place. We are using four mecanum wheels (each are 4 inches) to easily control our robot and we have been able to move our robot already. We are planning on making a special spot on the robot so we can pick up the gears to score more points, but we have not started on that yet. We've also built our shooter that seems to be working pretty good, we just need to attach it to the robot. We've come a long way since the start of the season, but we are still working hard to accomplish everything we planned on getting done.
